Dr. Peter M. Wilusz, D.P.M.
I am a
long time resident of Waterford. Educated at Waterford
Kettering High School where I excelled in athletics and
sciences in school. I received undergraduate degrees at
Oakland University in Biology, Physics and Biochemistry while
working full time operating a specialty shoe store and raising
two younger siblings. I continued my education in Cleveland,
Ohio. I entered the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in the
Fall of 1997. I graduated with Honors in the Spring of 2001.
My
extensive formal training began in July, 2001 at Kern
Hospital, a specialty hospital unique for training exceptional
clinical and surgical foot and ankle specialists. I concluded
my surgical residency training in June of 2003. I then
graciously accepted a position at Kern Hospital as a Surgical
Fellow for an additional year specializing in Diabetic Limb
Salvage and Rear foot Reconstruction. I received a one of a
kind education with exposure in endocrinology, vascular
surgery, and extensive innovations in surgical and clinical
techniques for salvage of the diabetic limb.
I
currently reside in Royal Oak with my wife after joining the
Lakeview Foot and Ankle Clinic in Dearborn, Michigan. I also
service the public with private offices in Southfield and
Waterford with Dr.’s Guy Pupp, D.P.M. and Jack Janigian, D.P.M.
In addition, I function as a Clinical Attending at Southeast
Michigan Surgical Hospital instructing residents in the
clinical and surgical management of the foot and ankle. |
