Dr. Gary Kaplan, D.P.M.
 Dr. Kaplan graduated from the Ohio College of
Podiatric Medicine in 1971 with a Podiatric Medical Degree. He
then completed a surgical residency at Grand Community
Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Kaplan is Board Certified
by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of
The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and The
American College of Foot Orthopaedic. He has served as
President of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeon
and on all committees of the college, including as the
Chairman of the Science Education Conference Committee. In
addition Dr. Kaplan has served on numerous committees at
hospitals and several on the national level.
Dr. Kaplan has lectured all over the country –
nationally, internationally, locally and has authored numerous
publications, trained over 200 residents over a 30-year period
in all foot ankle procedures. He has developed a history of
podiatric surgery from the 1950’s to present in slide
presentations.
